CJLA Girls Story: Lauren Edwards

Happy Wednesday, CJLA Girls! Today's CJLA Girls Story is a special one! We got to chat with Lauren Edwards to learn all about her daily life, her capsule and of course her love of all things CJLA. Find Lauren's full interview below:

CJLA: Tell us a little bit about yourself!

LAUREN: My name is Lauren and I am from Orange County, California! I’m a fierce single mom of two with an amazing boyfriend who is supportive of all my hopes and dreams. I am also a professional photographer, and I primarily work with families, couples and small businesses.

CJLA: How did you discover CJLA?

LAUREN: I found CJLA on Instagram, originally! I was drawn to it because I love supporting local SoCal brands, and I LOVED the effortless California style! I identified with the different pieces, and just knew that they needed to be in my closet!

CJLA: Carly Jean Los Angeles is more than clothes, it's a community! What do you love about the CJLA community?

LAUREN: One thing that I really love about CJLA is that it is WOMAN OWNED! Carly Jean has built this awesome team of women to represent her company and we are all different shapes, sizes and colors! I feel very welcomed and at home within her brand.

CJLA: What are your three all-time favorite CJLA capsule pieces?

LAUREN: My absolute favorite three pieces from my capsule are the Fletcher Jean Jacket, the Boyfriend Tee, and CJ’s Favorite Swing Dress.

CJLA: Why does the capsule concept work so well for you and your lifestyle?

LAUREN: I really love the capsule concept because it fits my lifestyle. I am a busy mom, and sometimes I don’t have the time to “put an outfit together”. But I know for sure that when I go in my closet, I can pick out one or two CJLA pieces from my capsule and quickly create an effortless look!

CJLA: What is your favorite CJLA capsule piece to style?

LAUREN: Honestly, the Fletcher Jean Jacket is probably my most versatile piece. I can wear it over the Swing Dress or the Kelsey Tiered Dress. Or I can tie it around my waist for a laid back look with a number of pieces. I also really love CJ’s Boyfriend Tee’s! I have two and wear them ALL. THE. TIME. I can knot it in the front for a tighter fit, or let it be loose to hide that burrito I had for lunch. And they are extremely soft. Like BUTTAH!

CJLA: If you had to describe CJLA to a friend using only three words, what would they be?

LAUREN: The main reasons I love CJLA are how absolutely effortless, gorgeous and timeless the brand is.
