CJLA Girls Stories: Pamela Anderson

CJLA Girls Stories: Pamela Anderson

Happy Wednesday, CJLA Girls! We have a special CJLA Girls Story to share with you this week! We had the great joy of chatting with Pamela Anderson, a CJLA Girl living in Georgia! Pam is a busy mama who loves to share about her CJLA capsule. Read our full interview with Pam below!

CJLA: Tell us about yourself!

PAM: Hi! My name is Pamela Anderson! I am 56 years old and live in Northeast Georgia with my husband of thirty plus years and our seven children. We also have a sweet Labradoodle named Kuito and a cat named Bruce. I have worked in radio and TV, in the clothing industry and I taught private school after college. But for the last twenty plus years I have home educated our children and I love it. I am a health and fitness enthusiast and enjoy feeding our family whole organic food. We as a family have a heart for adoption and three of our daughters are adopted from Kuito, Ecuador. We had the opportunity to live there for nine weeks for our last adoptions as a family and I fell in love with the country and its people. I stay really busy taking care of our family and teaching! I thrive on all things outdoors so I lay claim to being a "beach farm girl" and I love to hike with the family and travel when we can... especially to the beach! I love people and if you give me five minutes we will be best friends.

CJLA: How did you find CJLA?

PAM: I first heard about CJLA through an Instagram friend not long after the online store started. I ordered a piece here and there and pretty soon it was all I could talk about when it came to clothes. I ask for CJLA or strongly hint at it on every occasion!

CJLA: CJLA is more than clothes, it's a community! Why do you love being a member of the CJLA community?

PAM: I've always loved fashion and after bringing home our last two special needs daughters my time was stretched more than ever-- so to find cute things that I could order from home was such a blessing. As I ordered and chatted, I got to know the CJLA family and grew to love them because they went above and beyond the call with every question or transaction. As the CJLA community grew and grew I got to know some of the sweet ladies and it became a source of inspiration and support. As a full time mama, teacher, caregiver, special needs mama.... this little space and this precious community gave me something that was just for me and became part of my self care. I also hope I was and am a light for many, as it's my greatest desire.

CJLA: What are your three all-time favorite CJLA capsule pieces?

PAM:  My all time favorite pieces as far as capsule wardrobing (is that a word!?) would be any CJLA Denim, Basic Tunic Tees and any of the sweaters. I own too many! I also love any CJLA pullover or hoodie. The denim jacket I own is also the best! There is one more thing that I need to add because if you ask those closest to me what my signature style would be they'd say a dress styled with boots, flip flops or sandals. My closet is full of CJLA dresses and I love every single one. CJLA dresses are the cutest and I always get compliments when I wear them. I also love my many hats.

CJLA: Why does the capsule concept work for you and your lifestyle?

PAM: My closet is full of CJLA both new and vintage. Everything goes together and I don't have to think about what to put on because EVERYTHING is beautiful, well made and mixes and matches. When I was a little girl my mom was a master seamstress and would wrap up boxes of clothes all to mix and match with a few signature pieces. So for this grown up version of me, it's a dream come true. I can throw a pair of denim jeans, a t-shirt, a pullover, a dress, and a hat into a bag with some CJLA essentials and I'm ready to go.

CJLA: If you had to describe CJLA to a friend using only three words what would they be?

PAM: If I had to describe CJLA with only three words I would find it hard because there are so many beautiful ways to describe this company, whom I call family. They care, they encourage, they are honest, they want others to feel beautiful and loved. They are generous and on a mission to do more than business. They make quality, fun, unique clothes. They try to find ways to involve everyone and provide pieces that are affordable. My three words for this company would be loving, caring, honest, real. Oops! That's four!
