A Few Favorite Toast Recipes

 The best thing about toast is how simple it is to make and at the same time delicious and filling! Here are three new toast recipes to add into the mix, but the possibilities of the recipes you could create are endless! Serve with a side of fresh fruit, yogurt + granola, and freshly squeezed orange juice for the perfect weekend brunch! 

Summer Peach Toast

Ingredients:

1 Fresh Baguette
Goat Cheese
A few Fresh Peaches or Nectarines
Handful of Fresh Basil 
Olive Oil
Balsamic
Fresh Cracked Pepper

Instructions:

Top each slice of bread with a generous amount of goat cheese, a slice of peach and some basil. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic on top, along with fresh cracked pepper to taste. Serve the bread as is or toast before adding ingredients! 

Avocado Bacon Toast

Ingredients:

Fresh Bread (My favorite is from a local bakery called Varsity Bakers
Avocado
Bacon 
Chili Salt (This one is from Gjusta Grocery which local to Venice, but online ordering is available as well)
Fresh Basil 

Instructions: 

Toast bread (with or without butter) and top with fresh avocado, pieces of bacon, a sprinkle or chili salt, and basil! Serve and enjoy! 

Pesto Avocado Toast

Ingredients:

Sourdough Bread
Pesto
Avocado
Salt + Pepper to Taste
Eggs
Microgreens
Bacon

Instructions:

Slice and toast fresh sourdough in the oven. Once crispy, spread on a thin layer of pesto and then add sliced avocado. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top.  Next add a fried egg cooked in Kerrygold butter (the best!) with a pinch of salt and pepper. Add microgreens and crispy bacon to finish it off!
