CJLA Girls Story: Nicole Daco

Happy Wednesday CJLA Girls! We're excited to share another wonderful CJLA Girls Story with you all today! We had the joy of chatting with Nicole Daco. Nicole loves her CJLA capsule and in her interview below you can learn more about her, her lifestyle and why the capsule concept works so well. We hope you enjoy reading Nicole's story!

CJLA: Tell us about yourself! 

NICOLE: My name is Nicole Daco and I live in Las Vegas, NV where I was born and raised. I’ve been married for 2.5 years but my husband and I have been together for 10! We don’t have kids yet but hope to expand our family very soon! I work full time in luxury retail management on the strip so a love for fashion has been in my heart for awhile.

CJLA: How did you find CJLA?

NICOLE: I found CJLA through a good friend of mine because she was always sharing about it on Instagram, so eventually I started following along all of the CJLA accounts and decided to finally bite the bullet and order a few pieces. Long story short, a CJLA addiction was born and I’ve been shopping ever since!

CJLA: CJLA is more than clothes, it's a community! Why do you love being a member of the CJLA community?

NICOLE: I love the CJLA community because I can connect with other women who have the same love for the product. Some of my closest Instagram friends I’ve met through the CJLA community either from the Facebook insiders group or just on social media in general. It’s nice to connect with other women who feel like CJLA clothing has really been an answer to their prayers and to be able to plan our wishlists for each collection launch together.

CJLA: What are your three all-time favorite CJLA capsule pieces?

NICOLE: My three all time favorite capsule pieces would have to be my Chrissy Jeans (I wear them often and I love them so much I bought a second pair), the CJ’s favorite midi (I have it multiple colors), and the CJ’s favorite tank (also own it in multiple colors and it’s great for layering!)

CJLA: Why does the capsule concept work for you and your lifestyle?

NICOLE: Having a capsule works for my lifestyle because in my job, I wear a uniform to work. So on days I’m not working, it’s so refreshing to wear regular clothes and to be able to choose pieces that will transition in different weather, seasons of life, and ultimately, give me comfort and a sense of style where I don’t have to overthink it.

CJLA: How has having a capsule wardrobe helped to simplify your life?

NICOLE: Having a capsule wardrobe has simplified my life because I feel like I’ve spent my whole life shopping with a closet full of clothes and still have nothing to wear. CJLA eliminates the feeling of having nothing to wear. You don’t have to think about looking cute or being comfortable because you just will, no matter what CJLA pieces you choose to wear. The pieces are basic enough that they never go out of style, but still have a sense of what’s trending so your look is always on point. Plus, so many pieces can transition into maternity wear and even postpartum, that eventually when I’m in that season of life, I’ll still be able to wear so many of the pieces I already own.

CJLA: What is your favorite CJLA piece to style?

NICOLE: My favorite CJLA piece to style is probably the Mason Jeans. The wash is so unique and one of the main reasons I purchased them was because I had nothing else like them in my denim collection.

CJLA: If you had to describe CJLA to a friend using only three words what would they be?

NICOLE: If I had to describe CJLA to a friend in 3 words they’d be: timeless, comfortable, and easy!
