Throwback: Chad's Birthday

We went down to Disneyland for the weekend to celebrate Chad's birthday. We had so much fun! We had a great day together! We enjoyed all the kiddie rides with Hudson, who kept saying "RIDE!", lunch @ the Blue Bayou, plenty of overpriced tasty snacks, popcorn and turkey leg and a yummy birthday ice cream dessert from the Gibson Girl Ice Cream shop!

We debated on splurging and staying @ one of the Disney Hotels, but after much deliberation and the idea of a $300-600.00 hotel room... ouch! We decided to stay @ the Howard Johnson, which may sound slightly funky and slightly outdated... ok, very outdated :) but it was wonderful! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay while @ Disneyland. The rooms were super clean, we had great service, $90-120.00 a night rates, 8 minute walk to the gates of Disney, and a new water park on the property ( which Hudson could have played @ all day! Very cool! We actually took a break from Disneyland and went back to go cool off and play in the water at the hotel in the middle of the day, It was so nice!
