"I love these shorts! They’re a great length and so comfortable. They’ve been so nice to wear during pregnancy and I look forward to wearing them afterwards too! I’m between a small and medium in CJLA bottoms and I’m glad I sized up for these."
"The Layne Shorts are truly amazing and a must for summer! I love the stripe pattern. The texture is really nice. These are lightweight, breathable and so comfortable! They dress up really nice. The gathered waistband is perfect and feels great!"

"Unfortunately these were a funny fit and didn’t work for me. I’m usually a 5 or 7 in CJ denim and M in Hendrix shorts so I ordered M based on reviews. The elastic waistband was a bit tight but the shorts ballooned on me. Bought on steep discount so I can’t return."
"The elastic in the waistband is super tight, so if I sit in them for hours it kind of cuts into my abdomen. I didn’t notice it when trying them on, and now it’s not possible to exchange since I’ve worn them."
"The Layne shorts are really cute. I would definitely size up if you carry your weight in your midsection though. For reference, I’m a small in the Hendrix shorts and in the Layne the smalls were very tight so I would go up to a large for a comfortable fit. I’m 5’7” 130 pounds."
"I ordered these shorts but these are not the shorts I received. I got the version with the drawstring waist. They were packaged wrong. I didn’t really feel like going through the hassle of sending them back. The version with the drawstring are nice. Just not quite what I was going for."
