"I had the dark blue, non-distressed Kate jeans first and loved them so much I came back for these. These fit slightly smaller than the dark wash/ high rise ones as they are mid-rise, but I don't notice it much. I took the same size as the dark wash which are a little loose on me, so you might want to size up. The distressing makes them more casual, but I don't mind for the weekend. Highly recommend!"
"Love the fit and quality of these jeans! I’ve received multiple compliments on them. I ordered a size 3 and they are big on me but I was nervous a 1 would be too small. I don’t mind wearing a belt. I look forward to having to wear jeans now!"
"These are my new favorite jeans! But ALL of my CJLA jeans are favorites. THANK YOU for making a GOOD midrise- they suit my body type (42 years old, mom of 5, 5’ 8”, 155 lbs; athletic build, not curvy, thicker waist) far better than the high rise. I’d love to see more styles in a midrise option. This CJLA fit is a DREAM!"
"These jeans are amazing! I bought my normal size and they are stretchy making them a tad big so I’d consider sizing down one. They’re the perfect mid rise, the distressing is mostly covered so I don’t feel like I’m wearing my ratty jeans. I’m 5’3” and they hit me at my ankle. They’re so soft and so comfortable. I wish CJLA had more mid rise options for us short waisted women, I’d own them all!!"
"Love these jeans, so comfy! I have been wearing them non stop! They aren’t as high rise and I typically go for, however I am starting to like them better than my typical super high rise jeans! They fit great in the legs, but are a little looser on top."
"I’m disappointed and confused in the sizing of these. I have the Kate in another shade and they are dream. I ordered these in the exact same size and they look and fit like they are 2-3 sizes smaller than my other Kate’s… I’m a big CJLA fan because of their consistency and something is majorly off on this. The other bummer is I ordered them on sale and can’t exchange them for another size. They should have fit somewhat similar to my other Kate’s, which is why I ordered them."
"I have the dark wash Kates in an 11, and they fit fine, although a hair too tight. I actually sized up to a 13 in this run of Kates, and they are somehow tighter than the dark wash?!? I have not gained weight--all my clothes and denim have actually been looser on me as I have lost some weight, but these are too tight, especially in my curvy thighs. I can't return because they are final sale, so disappointed these did not work for me. I will stick with my Dylan, Chrissy, and Hendrix jeans that I love."
"I had to return these because they were way too small. I should have read reviews and ordered 1-2 sizes up. I love all the CJLA denim I own, I’m sure these would be no different when I get the right size."
