"I really wanted to love these shorts! The material is great and the pockets gave a nice structured appearance. But, I have wide hips and an ample backside. The shorts had plenty of stretch, but I didn't like the way my rearend looked in them. Even with the longer inseam, the seat of the shorts didn't work for me. I bought a large and wear a 11 or 13 in CJLA pants."
"For reference, I wear a size 0 in the Hendrix jeans (they are very snug, which I prefer in the stretch denim) and my waist is 27 inches. Long torso. I ordered and kept the size XS Hendrix shorts. These are cute! Although I am a smaller size, I have a curvy shape and I am bigger in the hips. The XS shorts fit me well in the waist, pretty tight in the hips. But, since these are stretchy, they still work. Everyone needs a good pair of denim shorts, and these are great! Will definitely get plenty of use out of them during the hot months here in TN. If in between sizing, I'd recommend going down. These are very stretchy and accommodating. Gave these 4 stars because they are almost perfect for me! I just personally like a little more room in the hips since mine are wider :) can't wait to try the Bodie shorts that are coming soon"

"I originally bought the small and they fit perfectly around the waist, but were too tight around the thighs, so I moved up a size. Now with the mediums, they fit perfectly around the thigh but are very loose around the waist. But I have worn them almost everyday when I get home from work, so I think I like them. :)"

"After purchasing and LOVING my Hendrix in sea salt, I knew I had to get more colors! I chose this medium wash and the black and could not be more pleased. The fit is consistent among all 3 washes, which is significant. Usually different denim washes feel and fit differently, so the consistency in the Hendrix shorts is honestly wild! Can’t wait to wear this medium wash all summer. They are that perfect, timeless denim wash that quite literally never goes out of style. Look like cool vintage shorts but feel buttery soft and flexible (this is coming from a doe hard vintage Levi’s fan)! 12/10 CJLA!"
