"I’ve waited for a few years for a nice midrise again! These Baileys are very nice and great quality. However, I ordered my normal size and they fit like slim straight, not skinny. If you are slim with thin legs, I’d definitely recommend sizing down if you want them to fit more skinny. I do like the slim straight look in a midrise so I’ll keep them. I may order them again in a size down for the intended fit."
Q&A
- I’m not sure about the correct sizing. I feel like my measurements never match the actual size I wear. My waist is measuring about 35” and my hips are about 42”. That would put me at like a size 17 or 1X but I know that’s not right. For reference, at Madewell I wear a 10/30. Same at Gap. I’m 5’6” and 165lbs. Based on reviews I’m guessing I should actually be an 11 but I’m not sure. I have this issue anytime I try to use the actual measurements to align with a size chart. I’m also wondering about returns. I’ve never bought CJLA before. It sounds like you only offer store credit or exchange. Is that correct? Or would I be able to get a full refund if these don’t work out?
- Hey there! We do recommend trying a size 11 for a snug fit in the waist, or a size 13 for a more relaxed fit in the waist! Our return policy is for store credit! We do have our 50% off denim sale running through Sunday August 3rd! For this 50% off denim sale, we’re making a special exception and allowing returns. The only exclusion is denim already marked as clearance (which will remain final sale)! So if you do make a purchase during the sale and sizing doesn't quite work out, your order is returnable!
