CJLA Recap: Reflecting on 2023!

What a year it has been! As 2023 comes to a close, now is a good time to reflect on the incredible year it has been! From tent sales, to traveling abroad, and so much more, we could not doing anything without you! And YOU, the CJLA community, you have helped so many lives and supported so many great causes just by shopping with CJLA! So we wanted to feature some highlights of 2023 here at CJLA! We want to reflect on everything, from where we went, who we supported, and what your favorite pieces were this year! And of course, CJLA wouldn't be what it is today without your support, love, and care! We are so thankful for our community, for our friends like you!

Where We Went

This year, we were able to travel to some favorite spots and get to know our community even better! Last December, we were able to go to Florida and enjoy a small pop-up and spend time with all of you!
In addition, we spent a weekend in April traveling to Nashville, Tennessee to meet up with y'all at a coffee shop, enjoy a dinner with some of local artists, authors & musicians, and we got to attend a CAIN concert with y'all as well! It was so fun to bond over coffee, friends, and good music!
We love being able to travel to visit your home towns, and so we want to know, where should we go in 2024?! Comment on this post below to let us know!

CJLA Events

This year, we were able to host not one, but three in-person events in 2023! In May, we enjoyed a Spring Bash with a tent sale and a dinner! It was absolutely amazing to get to visit with all of the gals who came, plus there was delicious food and fun music!
In November, we had the Winter Bash with live music from Jake Scott, as well as some fire-cooked dinner from Chef Sebastien from Basqueria!  Carly and Chad did a live Q&A, and we were able to get to know our community so much better! 
Plus, only a month later we hosted our Cookies and Cocoa event in order to raise support for our friends at Open Arms Pregnancy Clinic! With amazing hot chocolate and coffee, delicious cookies, and great shopping, we were able to kick off our holiday season spending time with you!

Our Partners

Nashville Covenant School - In April of this year, there was a terrible shooting at the Nashville Covenant School. We wanted to support the families that were affected by this tragedy by raising thousands of dollars through selling Nashville Hats! Because of your love and support, we were able to raise $5,000 to help the families affected by this tragic event.

Freedom Giveback - Over the summer, we were able to help raise support fro our friends and partners over at Atlas Free, to help put an end to human trafficking around the world. We created special freedom crewnecks and all the proceeds went to them! And you guys crushed it! We were able to raise $25,000 to help Atlas Free in their cause, and we could not have done it without you!

CJLA would not be where it is today without the support of our community like you. We have been able to do so much this year because of your love, support, and care for our small business! We love each and every single one of you, and we are so so so thankful for y'all! We hope you have a great rest of your year! Happy holidays!
