Great jeans I adore the fit and vintage wash but I ultimately had to return them, as with most cjla denim they are not full length. Im a touch under 5'6 and pretty much every single pair of denim cuts off above my ankles. I truly hope they make cut jeans or jeans styled not to be capris or ankle waders. Absolutely adore cjla and I'll never stop buying from them but until they have more inclusive denim I'll have to find that else where
I'm so sorry to hear that the denim hasn't been working for you, Emma! That's never our intention to create pieces that don't work for everyone. That's fantastic feedback and I'll be sure to pass that along to production as we start to create more denim! :) We have a lot of new denim planned for 2021 that's going to be amazing.
I’m 4’11” and was excited to try these pair of jeans because finding a good pair of jeans for petites is hard to come by. I ordered a size 9 and it fit perfectly around my waist and in my seat area; and I liked the way the material did have a little stretch while also having a “mom jean” fit. But after needing to cuff the jeans a ton, it no longer was tapered at the bottom and flared more than I was hoping. Great quality, but not a good fit for petite women.
I'm so sorry that the Morgan weren't what you had hoped to get, Hannah! That's so helpful for other gals who may be more on the petite size to know how they'd fit. Thank you for including that! :) You may prefer the Hendrix or the Clarke jeans which are similar styles to the Morgan.
This denim is incredibly thick and barely has any stretch so if you're looking for a more structured look, this denim can work for you. The waist does not have any give because of that though so I would definitely recommend sizing up -- the trade off there is the legs may be more boxy bc they are straight legs. I am keeping them but I know they won't be a go to pair for me.
I'm so sorry that the Morgan weren't what you had expected, Justine! It's so good to know to size up if needed. I'd recommend looking at the Clarke's for a different straight leg or the Monroe's for a skinny fit! :)
These are hard denim, so you may need to size up, as I typically do on CJLA hard denim (Chrissy and Josie). They're a true mom jean, with high rise and tapered leg.
These jeans are a classic hard jean. They fit true to size but are a little snug in the waist. I’m 5’6” 150 lbs and they are comfortable. Glad I got them and on sale too!
