The color, the fabric, the cut...everything about this is amazing! I can't wait to layer it for fall as it gets colder. It's unlike most things that CJLA has made....in the best way. I wish it came in other colors as well!
Love the idea of getting this in more colors, Phoebe! :) It's such a fun jacket especially the material being super soft.
Soft fabric and thicker than a standard button-up shirt. I would say like a flannel fabric. I would categorize this as a shirt jacket, which is the thing this season. I was not impressed with the quality of the sewing. There are multiple buttons were the thread is coming undone. Inside both pockets, there are wads of loose thread that I had to cut out. For the price, I thought the quality would be better. True to size.
Hey Jean! I'm so sorry about all the loose threads that the Hadley had. Please be sure to email firstname.lastname@example.org as that shouldn't be something that's occurring.
I LOVE this layering piece! The pecan color is gorgeous and goes with so many of my CJLA pieces. It will be perfect for Arizona evenings this fall. I wear a medium in most CJLA, and a small in oversized. I feel like the medium is TTS with maybe a little extra room. I am wearing it with my Tate top and black skinny jeans. Great staple.
I am unsure of this Hadley, I really wanted to love it based on the try on's and pictures but it seems unfair to call this a jacket. It is very soft and light, a little thicker than a button-up but definitely not something to keep warm in. I ordered a medium to stick TTS, it fits but could size up to wear a long sleeve underneath to add warmth. Undecided if I will keep it or return to try something else.
